Enter successfully to find Warped images in the back of your mind Forgotten exposures Hidden leftovers Written down just time To not forget it but forgetting is fine Forgotten leftovers Over my shoulder Another mountainside in flames And only a kid left to blame It’s starting to smolder Nothing leftover And we’ll watch it burn It’s starting to smolder Nothing left over
2.
Black speckled night And feelings we can’t unwind Black speckled night  Connect the dots  A fearless flight A bumpy ride to the other side Black speckled night connect the dots Black speckled night We’ll meet up underground Black speckled night  connect the dots  Black speckled night Goodnight We made our way out Out into the atmosphere Now we’re way out Deep inside a lightening storm But I’m safely  Bumping a long in an empty seat I know we’ll make it there  Black speckled night  connect the dots Black speckled night  goodnight

Stay Close 03:30
Stay close You can ask me anything you want We are alone Close your eyes Now imagine everyone you’ve ever met Is here with us Listen closely They’ll tell you what the want Just listen closely  And they’ll tell you they just want the best for you Breathe it in Hold it deep inside of you Then let it go Listen closely

Let down your hair It’s gonna be a while  Before we go anywhere Running in place Spilled milk It treats us all the same How bout last night Got into a stupid little fight But don’t worry Out of sight, out of mind tonight  Let down your hair Let down your hair The colors are changing  But that doesn’t mean it’s not all the same Our foundation is sturdy Our attic is filled with our lost dreams Let down your hair It’s gonna be a while  Before we go anywhere Running in place Spilled milk It treats us all the same Let down your hair Let down your hair Let down your hair
5.
White Noise 02:57
It’s all white noise It’s all white noise I can’t stand to hear it anymore It might be time  To leave it behind  The electric shock of an open door policy  Tranquilized by things brought in a new life Curtailed my mumbles Expanding lungs of elasticity  Breathing in for the first time  wondering what could have been It’s all white noise It’s all white noise I can’t stand to hear it anymore Abundant weeds of the ocean growing Top to bottom, bottom to top  Gelatinous waves pushing things together Forming new bodies, new cultures, new crap A pharmaceutical lifestyle  staring into the limitless vegetation of earth  Was I there? I wouldn’t mind  trying something new I’ll leave it up to you Up to you  I wouldn’t mind I wouldn’t mind I’ll leave it up to you
6.
Decided 03:32
Breathe light into you And epoch divided  No fault left to prove Discussed and decided Rat-fink fish of mass extinction Will haunt our way Till we decide That we’ll all fall down Leave your troubles behind Here’s a new place to hide yourself Stay away for the fire You don’t wanna burn what’s left of you  Rat-fink fish of mass extinction Discussed and decided That well all fall down We’ll all fall down together Yeah we’ll all fall down No lemons for lemonade Make the best out of best behaviors In a warm jacket by the bay I found you Sitting by yourself on a bench Flipping through a dog-eared copy Of electric kool-aid acid test  Electric kool-aid acid test And we’ll all fall down We’ll all fall down  Yeah we’ll all fall down We’ll all fall down together

Humidity 03:37
When I start to daydream My mind turns straight to the mysteries A silver fishing stream And this humidity The humid air is slowly taking its toll Breaking down all familiar molds When I turn my head around I’m looking down  A silver fishing stream

We’ve beating around the bush For way too long It’s hard to remember  where we started from  It’s all we can do to hold it together Cuz we know It’s worth holding Holding onto We know it’s worth the work No more fear or stress in here Cruise control no hurry The painted trim of the window sill  matched your dress today I told you That one day you’ll have the leave the place that you live I told you  that one day you’ll have to leave I told you That one day you’re gonna be light  I’ve been looking down This whole time I can’t see What’s wrong or right It’s all we can do to hold it together Cuz we know It’s worth holding Holding onto We know it’s worth the work No no more fear or struggle from here Cruise control no worry The painted trim of the window sill Matched your dress today I told you  That one day you’ll have to leave I told you That one day you’re gonna be light

Gone to Pass 03:43
There’s a green valley On the other side of the highway overpass I laid there to a while Became one with the grass I laid there for the afternoon Watching the day slowly cast Shadows on out afterthoughts  Shadows on our past  Now we’re sitting down to talk about All the good things gone to pass We’ve all this time Time ain’t coming back Out of bed Early on the weekends Get it together boy You’re wasting our time Now we’re climbing out  of the hole we dug Deep in our own back yard We can’t get out again We dug down too far So you get out of bed A little early on the weekends Get it together boy You’re wasting our time We don’t talk about it We don’t let it out We don’t express ourselves very well There’s a green valley On the other side of the highway overpass I laid there to a while Became one with the grass I laid there for the afternoon Watching the day slowly cast Shadows on out afterthoughts  Shadows on our past

Left out of Right into Now we’re in another state How did we end up here Maybe this time I’ll find  I’ll find a better way To guarantee our kick back In another world  On another day Maybe we could be Less than six feet a apart If there’s a price to pay I’d like to know I’m clear If there’s a price to pay  I’d like to know A life time of Mistruth Now we’re running into fate It can’t last but so long It’s going out of date In another world On another day Maybe we could be Less than six feet apart If there’s a price to pay I’d like to know If there’s a price to pay  I’d like to know I’m clear
12.
The little voice inside your head Is telling you to go to bed But you don’t listen to her It’s way too loud outside The helicopters are flying And you’re worried The sun don’t shine on me alone How can I convince you  The sun don’t shine on me alone How can I convince you  Unfamiliar roads We don’t know what we don’t know And it’s too late to fix this mess The old fashioned way The sun don’t shine on me alone How can I convince you  The sun don’t shine on me alone How can I convince you  The sun don’t shine on me alone How can I convince you

Ghost Town 02:39
The coffees done and the sun is out I’ll remember you in your orange sweater It’s a ghost town when we turn around Will it be like this forever? They said we’d find our way out I don’t know where we go from here They said we’d find our way back I don’t know where we go from here They’re taking their time And we’re scrapping by It’s gonna be a long winter Laid up on the outside of time What do you remember? They said we’d find our way out I don’t know where we go They said we’d find our way back I don’t know where we go from here Where do we go?
14.
Beneath tall trees In the valley of our dreams And the mountain tops we see  Our mind are always racing time Like the moon under the sun Like the patterns in the sand I’m wandering and wondering When will it end? When will it end? The food is on the table in the other room But you decided to eat the moon To get a better view  When will it end?  Our mind are always racing time Like the moon under the sun Like the patterns in the sand I’m wandering and wondering When will it end?

"Keep the vibes positive! Dig in the dirt! Do the work! Get off the internet! Help your neighbors! Be a light in this f*cked up world!" – Jeff Haley.

‘Forgotten Exposures’ is the third full length release from Richmond, Virginia based artist Jeff Haley – who remains a constant in Wild Nothing’s live band. This new album is a collection of songs culled from dozens of home recordings spanning 2017-2022. Picking up where ‘From Upstairs’ left off, Haley touches on personal relationships, home life, political turmoil, and our collective state of impending doom without taking us fully into the darkness we can easily find ourselves in. ‘Forgotten Exposures’ sees Haley leveling up in terms of songwriting and production, while still giving us the “rough around the edges” appeal that drew us in with his early work on ‘Home Alone.’

‘Forgotten Exposures’ is released September 9, 2022 digitally worldwide and on limited edition cassette tape.
